Thesis: Advancing the development of community-health system linkages for equity-oriented chronic pain care.

Research Interests and Future Goals: Nicole George completed her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of Windsor (’16), and her Master’s degree in Neuroscience at McGill University (’19). Currently, Nicole is a PhD student in Rehabilitation Science at McGill University, under the supervision of Dr. Sara Ahmed in the Person-Centered Health Informatics (PCHI) lab. For her doctoral thesis, Nicole is exploring how to collaboratively develop linkages between the health care system and the community to improve the continuum of care and better meet the needs of individuals living with chronic pain. She is interested in patient-oriented and community-led research that uses participatory methods.

Fun fact about you: Nicole has two senior dogs, Sweet Pea and Lily.
