Madison Leggatt (she/her)

Research Interests and Future Goals: Madison’s primary research interests relate to the social determinants of health within the primary health care context and health equity research. Her work has used predominately qualitative and participatory methods. In the future, she hopes to pursue further education on health policy and community interventions.
As part of her SMART Traineeship, Madison Leggatt, Dr. Alayne Adams, Dr. Catherine Paquet, and social prescription team members, were recently awarded a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Connections Grant to support ongoing work promoting Social Prescription in local primary care and community setting in the Montréal area.
