Thesis: To develop a community-informed, evidence-based intervention to improve hepatitis screening participation among Bangladeshi immigrants in Canada.
Research Interests I’m interested in understanding why immigrant communities in Canada miss out on available preventive health services. My goal is to work with communities to co-design practical ways to improve screening participation and supporting health systems respond to their needs more equitably and effectively.
My long-term goal is to co-develop and evaluate scalable, equity-oriented interventions to strengthen preventive health services for immigrant and underserved communities.
Fun fact about you: I’m a big Cristiano Ronaldo fan. His work ethic and mentality inspire me, especially when I hit a wall in my research.
