Research Interests My research interests focus on supporting the physical and mental well-being of vulnerable populations in Canada through community-based approaches to chronic disease prevention and the promotion of healthy dietary behaviours. I am particularly interested in strengthening the connection between individuals and their local communities in order to support sustainable, long-term health outcomes.
Fun fact about you: I completed my first marathon in May 2026!

- I have been a part of the Canadian Arabs Nutrition, Health Education and Active Living (CAN HEAL) Project since 2021. Through this research initiative, our team works to better understand barriers to well-being among newcomers to Canada. This work aims to inform culturally appropriate health promotion strategies and contribute to more equitable health outcomes. You can learn more about the project here.
